The Canada Student Loans Act and regulations and/or the Canada Student Financial Assistance Act set
the legal rights and obligations of a student and should be referred to in the case of uncertainty or dispute.
1. Read these instructions and conditions carefully.

2. Complete Section 1 of the application.
3. Send application to the lender holding your B.C. student loan for completion of Section 2.
4. Send a letter confirming employment (full-time, part-time, and/or casual) at a publicly funded facility
in a designated vacancy or an underserved community in British Columbia along with your
completed application. If you have a practitioner number, you must submit a letter from your health
authority confirming your privilege to serve in the community. Those professionals under contract
for the Province must ensure their employment letter also includes the contract number and ministry
involved. Midwives must also submit a letter from the Association of Midwives confirming their
registration
